As I walk along the Bois Boolong / With my wiener dog & bag....

For some reason, my 6/08 "Brindled Wiener Dog" post has been getting daily spam comments from people who think we'd all be interested in counterfeit high-fashion handbags.

Is it a look?  Or merely a trend?

Saying "brindled wiener dog" doesn't do anything for me, but the idea of a counterfeit high fashion purse which looks like a brindled wiener dog makes me LOL.

I've been getting the same thing, on one of my posts concerning a dog - and I would have been merely irritated by it if it had been a funny little fluff piece but it's a repost of the days surrounding a beloved animal's death and the idea that someone would use that to hang an ad for a Balenciaga bag on drives me wildly insane.

Maybe it's Cruella de Ville looking for Dalmatians for her next coat.

That's been happening to me over on InsaneJournal, where I actually do my blogging. Doesn't matter what year, or what post, I get spam comments about stupid 'Nike Air shoes'.

Delete them, block them from commenting in your LJ and if possible, report as spam. On IJ, theose accounts eventually get shut down and the emails /ISPs used to create them get perm. blocked. Hopefully LJ does the same here.
