Alan Lee gets a wallaby; I get a fairy

. . . but  Alan and I are both up today  on Terri Windling's blog "The Drawing Board" as part of her "The View from your Window" series!

Others' views include Karen Shaffer & Charles Vess . . . Bulgarian puppeteer Rossitsa, . . . Ari Berk & Kris McDermott . . . Beth Meacham . . . Wendy Froud . . . . Stu Jenks . . . [livejournal.com profile] deliasherman  . . . . I do have to say it's not fair putting real photographers up against us little writers with iPhones . . . . But the view, overall, is terrific!

What a charming fairy! It looks like a winged Peter Pan. I love your stained glass ornament.

I love the fairy and the stained glass, but I definitely prefer the spring view as opposed to the snowy one ... I've had enough of the cold weather, already!

What a great project! I like the views Terri's posted - I can see Dartmoor myself from my living room window.

You can?! Which bit?

How I love Dartmoor...

Haytor. It's a bit cloudy today, but usually it's very clear:

(It's a bit further away than that, but you get the idea!)

I like the views from your window too. You live next to Riverside? :>)

I love your window view! And the stain glass piece in the window, is lovely--with your initials. It also looks like it belongs on or came from the cover of one your books with the oak leaves and acorns. I had never seen that View-from-Your-Window series. The rest were just so much fun to look at as well. Thanks for the link. (My icon here is my view from my window--made when I moved to a new neighborhood this past year.)
