Newcastle would be no trouble - the two of you in a reading/interview/discussion event at the Lit & Phil, a Golden Dreydl event for kids at Seven Stories, somewhere else for Thomas the Rhymer, and whatever else you want to do - and I know a few people to talk to, who could look more widely. Funding's the problem, of course, but even there, I know who to ask, at least...
