[livejournal.com profile] livelongnmarry raised over $27,000! Loud cheers for the organizers, [livejournal.com profile] lady_ganesh, [livejournal.com profile] telophase and [livejournal.com profile] rachelmanija - I paticularly liked Rachel's graceful summation, "Beautiful, radiant things."

So: On to the next charitable adventure!

Didn't get what you want? Got any $$ left? Here's your chance to really score in a great game of chance, possibly even for $1:

To support its fabulous regular habit*, KGB Fantastic Fiction reading series is holding a huge raffle with fantastic prizes including: Original art by Terri Windling . . . Original art (for a George R. R. Martin novel) by Tom Canty . . . Story in a bottle by Michael Swanwick . . . Tuckerization (your name in a story) by Liz Hand. . . . Two year subscription to Sybil's Garage . . . There are dozens more delectable, desirable and utterly unique prizes on the website!

Me? I'm donating a Swordspoint 1st U.S. edition hardcover, which I will sign personally to the winner. The infinitely more socially productive [livejournal.com profile] deliasherman is actually offering a short story (or novel chapter) critique!

The more tickets you buy, the more chance you have of winning.

* KGB Fantastic Fiction is a monthly reading series held on the third Wednesday of every month at the famous KGB Bar in Manhattan. The reading series features luminaries and up-and-comers in speculative fiction. Admission is always free. I love reading at KGB - and more importantly, I love attending the monthly readings there. I get turned on to lots of great talent, and I love the cameraderie of people listening to and talking about specfic.
