Artist Craig Hamilton is having a Fire Sale to raise money to keep from being evicted. He's selling off pretty much everything. Some pretty amazing stuff, there, especially his Neverland series. I first met Craig when a friend commissioned a Richard & Alec drawing from him - but as far as I know, it's not up on his site . . . yet.

Our beloved pal Doselle Young (and friends) are signing The Darker Mask ("a collection of original prose stories recalling the derring-do of the beings we call Superheroes...[but in] a literary universe outside of what has been predominantly white... and male...") in LA this Saturday 8/23, 3-5 pm.

Jeez, I have seen his art for years. Eviction. Unbelievable. As an adult I know there could be many reasons, bad investments, ruined relationship, etc. but as a fan this bums me out (okay, so I used to hang in Coventry in my late teen years).

and Gamorra and Moondragon for sale. Actually, it says sale ?. What is his stuff going for? I could not pull down price?

I didn't see a price either - I think you have to contact him directly (contact artist is at bottom of the webpage, isn't it?) to ask.

"I require thousands of dollars immediately. My best hope now is a fire sale of everything in my gallery. I can always draw more.. . . Everything must go or everything will be gone. Get it now before it ends up God knows where! All prices are negotiable. I trust my friends, fans and collectors more than most art dealers and e-bay. Please look through my gallery and see what purchase you would like to make today."
