jaw-droppingly sad quote from a young dad

I know I'm all grown up and I'm supposed to know that people can be like that.  But it's a shock, every time.

Delia's birthday dinner (3 hours ago)

We went to Aureole, a crazyfancy midtown restaurant that happens to have a pretty reasonable pre-theatre prix fixe menu.  I told them in advance that it was deliasherman  's birthday, and suggested they set her dessert on fire - but not only did they bring her regular dessert, they threw in this amazing chocolate trio with her name spelled out!
          


Fancypants restau = sometimes, Very Very Good!
