ellenkushner: (Spanish Swordspoint)
So much I have to tell you about yesterday's 12-hour recording session on W. 55th St.!  But I'm rushing about trying to catch up with myself today - so here are some photos I (except for the one with me in it)  took on Sue's camera, which she - efficient lady - has already put up online.  (I took a ton on my camera, but you know how slow I am to debouche anything that doesn't have a cork.... Mine do include Anne Bobby, Doug Shapiro, Nick Azzaretti [dubbed "New Nick" by Sue, although he's one of my oldest friends, to distinguish him from "Not that old but I've known him longer" Nick Sullivan], and most of the other actors who didn't make it into Sue's.  There are many.)

And here is the announcement one of the actors, Robert Fass, put up on his blog.

No, I'm not going to tell you who's reading who, yet.  I'm not even sure I should have put these up, as the voices should stand alone in this project, and not ever be matched with faces, if I have my way . . .  . (Most of the folks reading don't look at all like the characters; why confuse you? #themagicofradio)  But those mikes! Those headphones! Those cables!  It's all just Too Cool.  Isn't it?

NB: For more on this project, click on Tag: audiobook.  It is not a veritable full-cast recording, but a kind of hybrid (Prius?):  I read all the narration and most of the chapters myself, but occasionally actors turn up and voice the characters. With sound effects, and maybe even music.  More news as it happens.
