The water you touch in a river
May. 12th, 2010 02:50 pmFrom the blog (2/24/10) of NYC composer Eve Beglarian , River Project: Up and Down the Mississippi:
here’s my translation:
The water you touch in a river
is the last that has passed
and the first that is coming;
so with the present moment.
The well-spent life is long.
(I really like Eve's work; used a bit of her piece “Landscaping for Privacy" in my Sound & Spirit show on Cities.)
