Atlanta August 14-15

Because we just can't stay away from airports . . . .  

Looks like deliasherman  & I will be at Faerie Escape Atlanta, along with Charles Vess,  Ari Berk,  Eugie Foster,  Kristin McDermott, Barbara Friend Ish, Andrew Greenberg, Stu Jenks,  Lisa Stock, Rene Newsome, and lots more good people  interested in "conversations on faeries, fairy tales, and their psychological and ecological themes; workshops on costuming, writing, faerie house construction and more; children’s programming; and celebrations of all things faerie related."

This is the last week to preregister for $19.  

Hope to see a few of you there!  (Oh dear, oh dear. . . what shall I wear to the ball?)

I had just seen that information the other day. Unfortunately I won't be able to afford to go, but at least the convention is closer to my neck of the woods. And! You will definitely get the hot where's-my-mint-julep weather. I'd advise packing light, with maybe a cardigan for cold convention rooms or airports. :)

So am I, and thank you -- my summer's been very good to me. My kids visited me for a month, and so got to witness Alex & I getting married. (We went to the courthouse and had the JP do it.) The juleps have been figurative up to now. :)

so sad not to attend this time (school starts the 16th and simply can't slip away) , I do hope its a grand success and will be held again I dearly loved Mythic Journeys and was hoping to see it come back in some form!
