Readercon, how I loved thee!! I grieve thy passing.  But the leaves will fall, and grow green again, and I shall once again behold thee - and all the amazing folks who were there, old friends & new, expected and un-.  It was some weekend.

Tomorrow night, I will be reading/signing at Greensburg (outside Pittsburgh) Barnes & Noble along with some of the Alphoids, and Tamora Pierce!  I think it's at 6:30.  I go where I'm told.  (No, really! Stop sniggering.)

Oooh, I hope you're having fun there. My two summers at Alpha taught me more about writing and publishing one's writing than just about anything else (even though I haven't published anything yet). And the people I met there are still some of my closest friends.

Hmm. Dare I ask what you will be reading from? I'm in Pittsburgh and Greensburg is ... not far, but not exactly a short drive. Ohhhh, must think ... but there's a non-zero chance I will show up with a pile of Bordertown books, or something. (If you are willing to sign them, naturally. Of course, it's also a non-1 chance, owing to boring post-workday logistics which I won't go into.)

Uh oh, I have to decide that, don't I? I think it will be from the new Bordertown book, though I'm open to requests. And I think I get a longish spot - like, more than 10 minutes, which is rare for a bookstore reading - might even be more! Plus, Tamora Pierce is also reading w/us tonight. Just sayin'.

And if you do manage to come - yeah, I now know just how far it is! 1 hour drive from Pittsburgh Airport, omg! - I'll be delighted to sign as many books as you want! I'm always happy to sign stuff (HEAR THAT, PEOPLE?).
