Just get back from being GoH at a fine convention, and helping launch a huge charity auction for your best friend? Preceded by throwing a launch party for your wife's new book?  And QCing final chapters and revising the copy for your first audiobook, which is supposed to launch tomorrow?

Sure, all you want to do is crawl into a hole and cover yourself with goosedown.

But, hey!  You forgot: You've got tix to see Shoemaker's Holiday at Red Bull tonight!

That's when you reach for  . . . ESPRESSO.

ETA:  Wow.  And just got e-galleys for an anthology I totally forgot I was in - reprint only, thank goodness! - triggering the reminder that I totally forgot to look at the final proofs for that other new anthology - original, so I'd better make sure they've got all my commas right! - last week.  Ora pro nobis, baby; that's all.
