Justine Tells All
Sep. 5th, 2006 03:15 pmThe ineffable Justine Larbalestier (whose first novel, Magic or Madness, is a real treat) is one of the people who got me to write The Privilege of the Sword - and in a recent entry on her always-delicious blog, she takes the time to give you the full story - complete with all the gory details I've been politely glossing over in my own gentlemanly interviews.
I'm going to hear Justine and Scott Westerfeld read at the NYRSF reading at South Street tonight - maybe she'll grace us with something from the newly-completed thrid novel in the series - fingers crossed! (Looks closer at JL's blog) Nope - instead we get the first 3 chapters of the new novel, which she's dubbed "the great Australian feminist, monkey knife-fighting, cricket, Elvis and mangosteen novel."
Will there be snacks?
