Weds. night reading at KGB

Delia & I are reading at KGB tomorrow night in NYC:
If you're over 21, climb the narrow stairs to a classic East Village bar
to hear Delia Sherman & Ellen Kushner in
KGB's Fantastic Fiction reading series
reading their newest work (probably unpublished short stories!)

Wednesday September 20th, 7:00 pm
KGB Bar, 85 East 4th Street (just off 2nd Ave, upstairs.)
"Admission is free; drinks are cheap!"
Come early to find a seat. Each author reads < 30 minutes, so it's over by 8:30.
Mobile Libris will be there selling the authors' books.

We'll also be at Books of Wonder on October 5th with a lineup of 5 other great fantasists, including Susan Cooper & coppervale!

Hoping to make Books of Wonder. Depends on whether we have a working door -- mnemex and I got broken into. My laptop was the main thing taken, and there's this strip out of the door sitting in the apartment, clear proof that we did lock up.

Hardly a *resounding* no - the site "EK Appearances" page is constantly being updated, and you never know when Indianapolis might be next. It hasn't happened yet, but do not despair.

Oh, dear!!! I am *so* sorry to hear that! There's nothing worse than a break-in - well, nearly nothing. I am so sorry about your laptop. Hope to see you - if only to learn that you have a new door safely in place.

Still undetermined. Super's been by with the contractor, who took measurements. The guy across the hall also got his place broken into, so that's 2 doors to replace.
