ellenkushnerTonight's concert was exceptional: performers are charismatic & top-grade musically; repertoire unusual & interesting. Everyone in our party, from 11-yr-old girl to my cousins who did not know they were interested in Early Music loved it to bits. Material was less about Purim & more about Italian Jewish community ca. 1500-1750 in general, with nice lashings of folk roots.
