My new IAF essay
Jun. 17th, 2005 11:35 pm“The Interstitial Arts Foundation: An Introduction” , which I wrote at the invitation of Jack Dann for his Nebula Awards® Showcase 2005 (ROC/PenguinPutnam, March 2005) for a section called “Movements in Science Fiction and Fantasy: a Symposium," is now available online, courtesy of Jack and his agent - and the generous webwork of Jennifer Pelland.
On the page listing all our theoretical essays it’s described thusly:
“Whose idea was this, anyway? In a brief overview of the organization and its goals, Ellen Kushner narrates the founding of the IAF, its essential outlook, vision and hopes for the future.”
If you’re reading this in June, you’re among the first to see it online; please beta-test it - and let us know if there are any glitches by writing to:

You're welcome to post your thoughts, questions, agreements, disagreements (re. the essay, that is!) on our Discussion Board.
