Interviews went well, I think. Nice lunch w/Bibliopolis publicist, who was there to shepherd us. Then Delia practically had to drag me to to Gaudi's Segrada Famlia, and once I was there I didn't want to leave. Story of my life. (Ask me sometime about the famous "Ohhh, noooo! Not another chateauuuuu!" incident when I was 7.) Just teh front was drippy & gooey - the rest . . Oh!

Unusually gorgeous weather today, neither too hot nor unbearably humid, so walked down to the waterfront. Ate ice cream. Walked until we came to the Born district, where we drank wine in the plaza of a fine old church, and found the restaurant our friends had recommended (7 Portes, very 19c and most amazing food). Walked home late, stopping to check out the bar/restaurant in the Barri Gòtic area, old twisty streets looks like Riverside some - stumbled into the old city walls, some gothic, some Roman, huge, lit up, unexpected, just part of the city and I want them. Found restaurant Els Quatre gats http://www.barcelona-tourist-guide.com/restaurants/els-quatre-gats-barcelona.html
with great revived atmosphere, but how could it be but a stage set for what once was truly there? Still, came home happy & now must sleep. Delia will, I'm sure, give a more coherent or at least deatiled narration tom'w.

Ooooh! *squibbles* It all sounds lovely! (Actually, it sounds similar to Italy. o.o; ) Especially the Barri Gotic place. That was a fast trip, tho'! (3

*What* happened when you were seven? X3! That sounded like a hilarious wail.
