"Cattery Row"
Aug. 15th, 2007 01:13 pmWho can resist a title like that? Clea Simon, my old friend from Boston, describes her books thusly: My Theda Krakow mystery series features a cat-loving rock music critic. Theda’s life revolves around the Boston clubs — and around her rather pampered pet, Musetta, who was rescued in the first book of the series, MEW IS FOR MURDER In the latest, CATTERY ROW, Theda and her sidekick, shelter owner Violet, set out to solve a series of thefts of pedigreed cats — and clear the name of a friend. All my books involve real animal issues and while cats are prominent, they are real cats — they don’t talk or read. They’re just fine the way they are.
