Klezmer concert was a dream, and so was Faeriecon - I'll write them up if I can, but promise nothing - today Yale Strom & family came over for lunch ostensibly to rehearse & run music cues on our play for the Kalamazoo festival, but actually to rave over all the Good Parts again (esp. the ones I missed while at Faeriecon) - fortunately he's also a filmmaker, and had a cameraman on most of it, so there may be a short documentary at some point, and I might even be in it!

Tomorrow D & I are going to Greenwich, CT, to be on a panel for the Hudson Valley Library Association (no, I don't know what that's doing in Connecticut!) called "Fall Into Fantasy: What is the future of fantasy fiction in a post-“Harry Potter” world?" I have no idea what I will say, but I've learned that if I open my mouth, something colorable will usually come out of it. After the panel I take a series of interesting trains to Boston, because the next morning I'm recording the narration for a piece on the women's chorus Voices Rising's first-ever album, Song of Wisdom from "Old Turtle," based on the children's book Old Turtle. I'm really honored that they asked me to do it. Then I come home and then we go see Wolves in the Walls at the New Victory with Chip & Davey (who kindly got the tickets) and then, um, I'm not sure. The Stroms get back from their upstate tour (yes, a bus full of klezmorim is headed for Fredonia!) on Monday night - maybe we'll finally make it through the entire script....

It's a fiiiiine life!

As long as no one makes me clean my room.

Ellen, is it possible for you to *be* any more cultured? (3 You're going to out-art yourself one of these days, and Ms. Sherman will have to sponge Melted Interstitial off the floor.

I enjoyed the klezmer concert immensely until the last hour. I think the sound man fell asleep. If I had been at a dance, I would have spoken to the sound man, but I feel strange doing that at a concert (especially one being run by a friend), so I fled to the ladies' room when it got too loud.

Walking home at midnight after 5 hours of klezmer is surreal. All of the street sounds become music.

Hello Busy Lady.
It me, I am I.
Shane, the Brambleberry Wildwose, Odom
Mask Maker.

Very nice meeting you, and Delia this past weekend. Had no idea you two would be such fun. I was expected studious types with serious scholarly expressions...(not really). Good luck with that hectic schedule.

Careful of the melting bits. You know the problems with melted Interstitials?

They run through the Cracks!

Wahhhhhaaaaahhhhaaa! (I slay me)
