Just got back from seeing "Edward II"
Jan. 10th, 2008 12:17 amRed Bull Theater's NY production is da bomb! Plus tall naked skinny boys kissing onstage. It really is brilliantly conceived & directed - and that's all I'm gonna say here 'cause it's after midnight. The run has just been extended through Jan. 27th, and if you have any interest in Marlowe and dead kings and living theatre, you have to go see it. I think there are TDF tix and discounts at broadwaybox.com available. They are also offering staged "Revelation Readings" of some pretty cool stuff this month.

Date: 2008-01-11 03:49 am (UTC)I have poked the Bear but only gotten a Maybe.
Can I invite you and Delia to dinner? Or maybe just come by to deliver Little Iced Cakes?

Date: 2008-01-11 02:55 pm (UTC)But would you like to come over before or after the show? We don't really have other plans that day, and are free til about 6:30, so tea/coffee here would be easy, or even lunch.
I've got a line on discount tix, if you or Bear need them.
Let's make further plans by e-mail; mine is listed on my Profile page.

Though now I'm peeved at myself for missing "The Revenger's Tragedy" which I've wanted to see since reading Pamela Dean's "Tam Lin".
Plus I bearded Spencer in the stairwell and got him to sign my program.
Again, thank you so much for recommending this production!

Date: 2008-01-20 06:19 pm (UTC)My next thing is, of course, Patrick Stewart in Macbeth at BAM. I've got my ticket for that already! Missed Sir Ian there, sadly, but YAY for Patrick Stewart! Are you going to that?
Huzzah for classical theatre!
