Response to yaoi_in_exile's Tom Brady MSN piece:

Hilarious - of course NYC media is obsessed with Tom Brady right now, as he will be quarterbacking against the Giants in the playoffs. Yesterday's tabloid NYPost actually showed a photo of him carrying flowers for his girlfriend, headlined "TOM BRADY: GIRLY-MAN!" The fact that it was here in Greenwich Village is what makes it funny: I mean, here he is, disporting himself behind Enemy Lines... They're also carefully watching to see if he's showing any injuries. My "football is not my fandom" friend also points out that if you look at closeups of the game, he barely breaks a sweat despite some pretty intense activity - and MSN refers to him as "extremely durable" - nice to know I don't just make this stuff up!

They will be playing each other in Superbowl XLII. All the lead up games are over.
