The Classic Dames Test, and
Katharine Hepburn
You scored 7% grit, 38% wit, 47% flair, and 16% class!

You are the fabulously quirky and independent woman of character. You
go your own way, follow your own drummer, take your own lead. You stand
head and shoulders next to your partner, but you are perfectly willing
and able to stand alone. Others might be more classically beautiful or
conventionally woman-like, but you possess a more fundamental common
sense and off-kilter charm, making interesting men fall at your feet.
You can pick them up or leave them there as you see fit. You share the
screen with the likes of Spencer Tracy and Cary Grant, thinking men who
like strong women.

OK,who could resist
Cary Grant
You scored 9% Tough, 19% Roguish, 28% Friendly, and 42% Charming!

You are the epitome of charm and style, the smooth operator who steals
the show with your sophisticated wit and quiet confidence. You are able
to catch any woman you want just by flashing that disarming smile. When
you walk into a room, the women are instantly intrigued and even the
men are impressed. When you find yourself in trouble, you are easily
able to charm your way out of it, or convince others to help you.
You're seen as dashing, suave and romantic. Your co-stars include
Katharine Hepburn, Irene Dunne, and Joan Fontaine, stylish women who
know a class act when they see it.

Hee! A lot of us seem to get Miss Hepburn. And I think that says something good about fannish women, although I admit to bias, in that I have always adored her. Nor am I, I suspect, the only fannish woman who looked at Captain Janeway and thought "Captain Katharine Hepburn".

Well I was kinda hoping for Myrna Loy, but I guess I drive the wrong kind of car . . . .

I got Myrna!

But I also wound up as John Wayne. Tweaked answers, and got Clark Gable. The quiz giveth and the quiz taketh away.

LOL. I've tried to keep up with you at conventions, and your crusing speed is much more Hepburn than Loy.

You got Katharine Hepburn... does this mean you are also Elanor of Aquitaine? One can always hope.

One can, indeed! I am definitely the sort of person who would screw up someone else's meticulous brontosaurus reconstruction, anyway.

Got Kate Hepburn, too, and John Wayne. I'd ha' preferred Bogie and Bacall, myself. Though I don't know if they were possibilities.

Katharine Hepburn may be a gimme for independent women who dress as they please, but Cary Grant -- yeah, that's a match.

I got Hepburn and so, it seems, did all the other women on my list. Independent women unite!

William Powell and Rosalind Russell. Bit bummed on the second one. After getting Powell, I really really wanted to get Myrna...

I have this sudden desire to throw The Thin Man DVD in...

Whee, I'm Katharine Hepburn too! (And Humphrey Bogart, don't know what to think of that)

Hepburn *and* Grant?
