A friend sent me the link to Sebastian Horsley's commentary on NPR with only the heading "--this is right up your alley" -- whatever can she mean?

Commentary pretty good, but the excerpt from his new book at the bottom of the page is even better - reminds me a lot of my fave memoir, Florence King's Confessions of a Failed Southern Lady.

I can't remember who told me to read that book, but it was highly influential in my life and came to me at a time when I was very open to influence.
