OK: 5 days here, and I've finished the "Riverside Marriage" comic script! And also the first draft of my new secret theatrical project which I hope will stop being a secret very soon (when we've got the contract signed. You all know never to tell anyone about a project or sale until you've got a signed contract, right? David Hartwell taught me that, back when I worked for him at Simon & Schuster).
So. Comic done. One more critical look, and then I send it to Collen Doran so she can do the picture. Hmm. . . I wonder which page she'll pick? And who will cast the winning bid for her piece?
And I wonder who will win the chance to illustrate the whole comic (or whether folks will decide to collaborate and divvy it up. . . )? I think it's 7 pages, but it depends on how you break down the panels.
And while we're in there - not that I spend my valuable writing retreat time ego-surfing
livelongnmarry or nothin' - but should one care to wordsearch Swordspoint there, one cannot help but notice that in addition to fanfic, socks, someone is offering a completely stunning entire parure for the Duchess Katherine (who has always wanted one) - including, of course, bracelets with "magnetic clasps for quick removal in case of duels." Wowza. Colors are perfect for her, too.

(And might there be photos of you decked out in Tremontainiane splendor for us to enjoy someday?)
