coffeeem's moving, lucid, inspiring & dare I say empowering description of her recent experience (and her subsequent post letting us know that all went well, and how). As she says, the comments to the first post are an encyclopedia and how-to book all on their own. Particularly quotable is marydell's I think of depression as a basilisk--it paralyzes its prey for easier eating. Also much good advice on workarounds for getting medication without adequate insurance coverage.
