The Spanish translation of Swordspoint is now out from Bibliopolis, with about the coolest cover ever. You get a nice big version of the artwork if you click on the image on the Bibliopolis page. According to the publisher, Luis Prado - a delightful man I met at Glasgow Worldcon - the art is based on the gorgeous Swordspoint flash page on my site, which is by Theo Black - Theo took the photos, and found all the right swords as well - a real crime of passion.

Thank you, Theo! Thank you, Luis! And thanks to desayunoencama for recommending my books to Bibliopolis, and to Alejandro Terán for the cover, and Manuel de los Reyes for the translation - I hope someone who reads Spanish will tell me someday how it reads.

Oh, my! That is a delicious cover!

I adore the Thomas Canty covers for both the old and new editions, but I think that Terán's painting really captures something vital. Looking at it, I have the same feeling that I had while reading the book . . . something about its gracefulness and the vibrancy of the red cloak. I would love a poster of it.

The flash page is quite beautiful as well.
