King Alexander the Stag

Thanks for all your kind and encouraging words about The Privilege of the Sword! I'll keep posting about it as the days (and weeks and months...oh, god give me patience...) progress toward publication. Raging "Swordspoint" world completists have noted that there's one short story that is pretty much impossible to find anywhere: "The Tragedy of King Alexander the Stag" by Delia Sherman, in A Distant Soil #29, ed. and illustrated by Colleen Doran (Image Comics, 1999), takes place about 800 years before The Fall of the Kings, and has never been reprinted (yet!). We do have, if not a basement full of them, at least enough to share with LJ friends - and also quite a few of ADS #28 with my old story "Red Cloak" in there, also illustrated by Colleen.
