La caída de los reyes
Jun. 29th, 2007 11:44 amThe Spanish edition of THE FALL OF THE KINGS is out from Bibliopolis (Madrid), with another glorious cover by Alejandro Terán, the artist who did A punta de espada & El privilegio de la espada (click on images for larger ones).
I can't wait to see all 3 of them together when we get to Spain next week for Semana Negra!
And, yes, my publisher has apologized for the non-canonical sword in the KINGS figure's hands . . . but for some reason, it doesn't bother me. It's a perfect illo, and very sexy, too! It Just Works. I guess because it conveys the spirit of the novel so well. I mean, I know technically it should be a BOOK in his hand - but how would that look? Not as good, for sure. (Though someone with photoshop and too much time on her hands is welcome to try....)
