ellenkushner: (Audiobook Swordspoint)
I'm tickled to death to see that Malinda Lo has listened to and blogged about the Swordspoint audiobook!

(She likes it, or I wouldn't be telling you about it.)

Malinda is the author of the much-acclaimed ASH, a YA re-envisioning of Cinderella with a nice, queer twist.  Her new novel, ADAPTATION, is coming out next week.  I first got to meet Malinda at Sirens a couple years ago - What a smart woman! I thought.  This year we hung out a little a Wiscon . . . and I'm looking forward to her panel at Brooklyn Book Festival in a couple of weeks - and to whatever eating, drinking & schmoozing we can all squeeze in there.

I am also enjoying the hell out of all the amazing answers to my "What's Your Favorite Imaginary Book?" contest!  The contest ends tomorrow (9/7) at 5pm my time. I almost hate to end it, but . . . how many imaginary books in literature are there??

Well, there's at least ONE that none of you has mentioned yet - my current favorite, and I'll let you know what it is when the contest is over. ;)

Meanwhile, the Create Your Own TPOTS Cover contest is still open to the truly artistic....until Sunday 9/16.  Go on, give me a thrill!  It's just for fun - and a cool prize.
