Note from Anne Groell, my editor at Bantam: "Thomas the Rhymer just went back to press for 2,500 more copies. Congrats!"

I must confess I am relieved - ever author lives in dread that the note is going to say that they're letting it go out of print and be remaindered. Thank you all, for keeping my work in print!

Most excellent news! I'd think your account of Thomas the Rhymer will continue to remain both relevant and engaging ;)

Thank you! That style of book is not, I think, so much the fashion now, so I am glad it still has life nonetheless.

Pshaw, I've ranted about fashion in fiction elsewhere! To me a good book is a good book, and a good writer is a good writer, period! (Yes, I know I'm being unfashionable! *grin*)

Where's your "fashion in fiction" rant? I'd love to read it.

Eep! Here's my short and snarky rant because it's one of my soapboxes. I'm a little too "old school" to be cool when it comes to things like this:

Wrote it last week, I think, in response to something else. Or was it the week before? Heh. Memory loss is a common thing in a grad student's life!

Woo hoo! And also, I love that book. A few months ago, I reread it for probably the 5th or 6th time. Which then led to a re-read of Swordspoint, which led to a rearead of TFOK and tPOS. Which is to say, I really enjoy your books, and I'm glad they're staying in print so other people can enjoy them too. :)

How lovely! Some of my readers tell me they like only one of my books, and say they can't understand why (or how) I wrote the others. We need more like you!
