How aimed at children is this? As in, would it be awkward if a distinctly not-child showed up with nothing even vaguely resembling a child in tow?

Not at all! Many non-kids adore BoW, and turn up for events there all the time. We'd love to see you. I just want to make sure there are enough kids to make the Ballet Workshop not look stupid; the rest of us can stand around cooing over how cute they are!
