I have always thought that killing is murder and killing for (whatever) God adds blasphemy to the deed.
It is probably too much to hope that the man's fundamentalist Church would throw him out or excommunicate him or whatever it is Churches do.

There will definitely be candles, probably to coincide with Chicago, as that's the easiest time for me (and my favourite US city).

Thanks for the info. I'll pass it along and will be going to the one in Minneapolis tonight.

One of my favourite things about my big ol' conservative, gay rights supporting, Army vet brother is that we worked as a security guard at the abortion providing clinic in Fargo.

And one of my other favourite things is that, while testing a new brand of pepper spray, he blasted himself in the face with the stuff. (It's one of his favourite storys as well. Among my friends and family we believe in the celebration of stupidity...)

We're a prime example of what an American family should be. My daddy fought in World War II, momma build battleships, my sister ran off to Canada, my brother is a big ol' conservative that doesn't fit the the GOP big tent, and I'm Queer as several three dollar bills.
