If we're talking about the six that have gone up so far, I'm going to guess the Wendy Ellertson. (Book, plus deerskin, if you wish us to show our work.)

I can't tell you how grateful I am to people I know perfectly well are broke, but who still put in the time & the materials to contribute to the auction. It really moves me, to see your generosity and to feel that it means we're doing something you think is worth supporting so much. Thank you.

You know, this really pushed me to make something that stretched me creatively, and actually pushed me into the realm of thinking of myself as an artist, so I kinda think I should be thanking you guys. :) And shadesong, of course, for writing the story.

(sighs with pleasure at the thought that this Interstitial Arts stuff REALLY WORKS to "encourage & support interstitial artists," just like we say in our Mission Statement!) Thank you for saying that. If you feel like writing it up for IAF to post on the blog, that would be extremely cool.

I was wondering if anyone had been bidding on the items, since when I visit the site it only shows the starting bid prices and gives no indication of whether any bids have been placed - it looks like no one has bid on anything. How do people find out about bid history?

I asked myself the same question! The answer is: You hit BID NOW and the Bidding History pops up. (You don't actually have to then register a bid, but you can see the activity.)

Thanks. If you know the web person it might help to include a statement to that effect - a lot of people who are curious, but not yet ready to bid won't think of hitting the 'Bid Now' button.

I've made a bid. Very bad of me considering the state of my budget, but it's for the IAF after all. (Can you guess which one it is? Considering my love of fairy tales and the newest member of my family, it's not exactly rocket science to figure it out.)

I, too, am guess it's Wendy E.'s lovely little book that you have a special yen for...?
