NYRSF & BMC: upcoming in NYC
Dec. 7th, 2010 12:01 pmDelia Sherman & I were supposed to be reading tonight at NYRSF, but since it conflicted with the memorial service for Ralph Vicinanza, they kindly moved it to next Tuesday, December 14th. We'll both be reading from unpublished work (which will be published in 2011): Delia will be giving a sneak preview of her teen novel THE FREEDOM MAZE (Big Mouth Press, 2011), and I'll give as much of "The Duke of Riverside" (NAKED CITY, ed. Ellen Datlow, June 2011) as I can fit into 30 minutes.
Any other Mawrtyrs out there in NYC? My Alma Mater's Club of New York seduced me into saying I'd attend their Annual Meeting & Holiday Party with the promise that I could talk about - and sell - 5 books to benefit the College. DON'T MAKE ME DO THIS ALONE! Please dig that Invitation (for 7:00 this Thursday, at Columbus/W. 80th) out of your Trash and come, too!
Thanks for the responses to my previous post on art that makes you cry - I'm learning a lot!
