Am I being driven slightly mad by the exigencies of having my 2 most big huge important projects of the past 4 years launch within 4 weeks of each other?

You bet I am!

Watch this space for a slightly schizoid barrage of news of The Witches of Bordertown and Welcome to Lublin semi-simultaneously!

Meanwhile, I must go eat more chometz before Sunday.  What on earth possessed me to buy an entire 12-pack of fresh chapatis when I was out in Brooklyn last week recording Witches credits?  And who knew that small cupboard could contain so many water crackers?

Is "exigencies" even a word?  It looks funny.

Oh, and my throat still hurts.  But Carol Emshwiller's birthday party at NYRSF was a thing of beauty.  Nothing hurt while I was there.

I'm not trying to eat stuff I like before the 8-day chometz fast - I know all too well it will still be there waiting for me on my return to the regular calendar . . . I'm just trying to clean out my cupboards without throwing anything out!

Crackers we have in Vancouver. Not so much black & whites or cold sesame noodles. And S has requested a pretzel from a cart. It'll be a culinarily exciting day-and-a-half before the first seder!
