SFBC "Omnibus" Swdspt/TPOTS
Sep. 4th, 2006 12:15 amStop! Someone catch that omnibus! It appears to contain the complete texts to both Swordspoint and The Privilege of the Sword, along with the 3 short stories linking them (which also appear in the recent Bantam paperback edition), all between one set of hard covers in a whomping 640 pages!
This is the work of the Science Fiction Book Club. I guess you have to be a member to purchase said volume, though my spies tell me they show up used sometimes. However, the really fun interview I did with the SFBC is up on their website for all to read. (The link can be a little funky - just keep trying. ) They asked about research (ha!), inspiration for the story & characters, even how my early experience as an editor changed me. I don't exactly spill my guts (I save that for you, darlin's!), but the questions reminded me of a couple of stories . . . . .
