editrx is such a genius. Besides being my extra very favorite copyeditor, she has come up with an ingenious way for knitters to keep track of rows and wear cool jewelry at the same time. Is there anything this woman can't do?? I am particularly impressed because she's put this up online to raise the funds she rather desperately needs to recover from a series of disasters that make one's blood run cold. Go, editrx! Your doughty New England ancestors would be proud of you. I don't even knit, and I'm tempted to get one just to wear.....

Remember how you said that Billy Crudup in "Stage Beauty" was Richard St. Vier?

I wasn't able to finish watching it last night because the movie stubbornly refused to turn into the film version of "Swordspoint." SO terribly uncooperative!

I think I'll have to try watching it again when I'm not trying to distract myself from Dorothy Parker's "Chant for Dark Hours."
