No, the Owl is, believe it or not, less cool. In the taxonomy of Daredevil villains he's more cool than Stilt-Man, but less cool than Leap Frog. The Owl is a tall, stout fellow who can fly because he has hollow bones. (Really.) Daredevil is an athlete who can fight incredibly well because he's blind. (Really.) The Owl tends to indulge in flights of pseudo-intellectual rhetoric to the effect that his ability to fly makes him obviously qualified to be the top New York City crime boss.
