Interstitial! What a perfect term for it. Though I'm not sure really what I can contribute to the discussion, I think I'll hang around and see what people say, see whether I feel inspired ... I don't know, I have a fairly strange background even by some "interstitial" standards, so I always get a little nervous when racial identity is brought up - I'm not even sure I understand what the term means, given that I can hardly grasp why the rest of the world makes such a big deal of it.

Hmm. Maybe.

I'll note, fwiw, that the IA home page is very pretty, but also extremely mystery meat-like -- I had to click on links randomly to find the discussion board, since none of them was the obviously right section. What that much javascript, at the very least the subsections should flash up on a roll-over -- which is still mystery meat, but is at least more navigable.

They SWORE to me that they did flash up on a rollover, but my Mac never sees them . . . I'm glad it's not just me - well, I'm not, really, because I'm vexed that you're having trouble, too. There is a link to the Discussion Board on every page, but you need a magnifying glass to find it (hint- it's on the bottom).

We are in the process of considering lots of website revamping - I'd be most grateful if you'd post any suggestions along those lines on the Discussion Board for all to see and consider. Just start a topic: "IAF WEBSITE FIXES?" or something, and let'er rip!
